The tonal balance and transparency of the RB42 are the result of a 10-element crossover that employs high-grade film capacitors and air-core coils for key components. To effectively reduce distortion and coloration, the RB42's enclosure features ¾-inch thick MDF panels on all sides, with 100% miter joints for greater bonding contact area. The enclosure is also stuffed with polyfill to a specific density, eliminating resonance and enhancing the tuning.
